From Wayanad, with care
Grown in the misty hills where the spice trade began
Wayanad sits 700 to 2,100 metres up in Kerala’s Western Ghats — a UNESCO-listed biodiversity hotspot where monsoon rain, ancient forest cover, and cool mountain air create a terroir found almost nowhere else. Every Spizones product still comes from the same smallholder family farms that have worked this land for generations, using intercropped, shade-grown methods rather than industrial estates.

Same spice aisle. Nothing else the same.
Most brands blend spice bought from traders across dozens of farms and seasons. We don’t. Every Spizones batch is traced to one grower, one harvest, one hillside.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Here are the top questions our customers asks
Where do your spices come from?
Our spices are sourced from the hills of Wayanad, Kerala, one of India’s most renowned spice-growing regions. The region’s cool climate and rich soil produce spices with exceptional aroma and flavour.
Are your spices natural and free from additives?
Yes. All our spices are 100% natural and contain no additives, preservatives, or artificial colours.
How do you ensure the freshness of your spices?
Our spices are carefully cleaned, dried, and packed in airtight packaging to preserve their natural oils, aroma, and freshness.
How should I store these spices?
Store them in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keeping the pack tightly sealed helps maintain freshness for longer.
What makes Wayanad spices special?
Wayanad’s unique climate, altitude, and fertile soil allow spices to grow slowly and develop stronger flavour, richer aroma, and higher essential oil content compared to many other regions.
